Meet Jacky Ip: Founder of InGauged Financial

I started InGauged Financial with a simple yet powerful mission: to empower Canadians to live better, more confident lives by taking control of their financial futures. When you have clarity about your money and the road ahead, you can be a better person to everyone around you. My goal is to help you enjoy life with the peace of mind that comes from knowing your financial future is secure and bright

Being in the financial industry for over 15 years, I saw a growing issue in the marketplace—many advisors are incentivized to sell products for commission rather than provide advice that’s truly in their clients’ best interest. By choosing fee-based planning, I ensure that my advice is always unbiased, transparent, and tailored to your needs—not based on how much I can earn from a sale.

A Little About Me

When I’m not working, I’m probably golfing or spending time with my kids, who are growing up fast! I’m passionate about teaching them financial literacy at home, so they’re prepared for the future. My wife is my biggest supporter, always grounding me and encouraging me to build my dream business.

Fun fact: I once won a car and almost spent the money on things I didn’t need—like car modifications and fancy trips! Instead, with my wife’s encouragement, we’ve invested it in real estate and learned how to grow that money, which set me up for the stable business and life I enjoy today.

Simply put, I too am a Canadian. As a father, husband and son living in Canada, I understand the challenges families face when trying to provide for their loved ones while making smart financial decisions. I am here to help people just like me to move beyond societal pressures and build financial confidence and live a life that’s rich in experiences, not just dollars in the bank.
